Description
The fairy entered the dressing room and emerged in different clothing and human form. "What do you think, Molly?"
"I think the goblins aren't fooled and Max still likes you way better than he likes them," I replied.
"Max is a sweetie," Piper smiled at the cat curling around her legs and hissing at one of the goblins. "Even in this form, these degenerates know me. You can see that the tiara is now part my hairband. I really wouldn't like to lose the warding spell it projects."
Looking at her perky human appearance I found myself asking what a lady never asks or answers: "How old are you anyway, Piper?'
She giggled. "How old do you reckon I am?"
"Uhm... 15? 16? 18 at the oldest," I replied warily.
"Much, much older. I was quite well into my adulthood when the pyramids were being erected; and, I am far from the oldest of my kind. There are very few of the Fae among you humans. We live nearly forever by your standards." She straightened. "It's been very amusing to pose for you. I hope your pictures come out well, Molly. I should go now!"
"Dang! I had so many more questions, my dear!" I replied and then added, "Just make sure the goblins go with you!"
She giggled and disappeared. The goblins made nasty little sounds of protest and also disappeared.
"What do you think, Max?" I asked the studio cat. He meowed plaintively in response. "Yeah, buddy. It IS time for dinner."
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.1029 and then tweaked for saturation and a bit of a vignette in Photoshop. Piper is V4 with modifications from Steffi at Little Designs (you need to check her out if cute is your thing!). To make her human, I applied the Fairy morphs at 50% strength and had to do some resizing and moving around of her eyes and neck. I think she looks suitably human, now. Max is the Hivewire3D housecat. The Goblins are stand alone figures that I think are by Sixus1; Mike got them long before I started fooling with Poser and I can't find them anywhere these days (they are called "Goblinz" actually). The set and HDRI lighting are by Afrodite-Ohki; her set "Level Up!" for Superfly is indispensable.

Indeed, the Fae know tons of history and such but don't always like to talk about it. For such a mature race they are known to be secretive and mischievous, I think. Thanks for the comment, JD!

She looks quite cute in human form (though not as cute as in her native form)! Love that schoolgirl outfit, which I also have and have played with when trying to come up with uniforms for a private academy. The skirt is a bit too short, but at least the top looks "normal" (and not like it belongs on a stripper, like some uniform outfit sets do!) The goblins are amusing, and I'm glad they have the capacity to disappear when the studio owner wishes them to!!

Thanks, Amy. I'm delighted you find my 'conversion' reasonably cute. XD I agree about the uniform but I thought it worked in this context. It's a perpetual struggle to find clothing content that is 'real life' as opposed to sexualized versions of real life. Generally, it's great if you are largely a pin up artist like Mazzam, for instance, but if you are interested in telling stories with real people you can pull your hair out trying to find something appropriate to dress them in. >.< I really need to start exploring content creation! =)
I wish I knew where those Goblins came from; they certainly look like the work of Sixus1 but I can't find them anywhere and there is no other content for them. =(
