Description
"Hello, Miss Van Humbeek, am always glad to see you but have much on mind," Gregor told Dorotea. He briefly related to his friend that he was to introduce his sister to the Professor. Reluctantly he admitted that he had forged the Professor's signature and produced significant fraudulent paperwork to expedite his sister's entry into the country. "Sister doesn't know just how worried I am but soon all will come out and we'll see if your sister is in a forgiving mood, Miss Van Humbeek."
Dorotea grimaced. "I understand your concern, Gregor, my dear. My sister has a great deal of integrity and will be very unhappy at this development. She also has great affection for you, as do I. I cannot predict with certainty how she'll respond to all of this but I agree you're best to drop all deception." She sighed. "I don't know that it will make much difference to her, but I'll throw my support for clemency into the mix." She considered the situation for a moment and then added, "I am looking forward to meeting this sister of yours. She must be something for you to compromise your honor this way."
Gregor grimaced. "She is counting on me. I hope I do not let her down."
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.757 and tweaked in Photoshop. Vladlena Bubnoff (now behind the door in the bathroom) is based upon the wonderful and much neglected mesh Bella 1.2 by Ali and available at his website mankahoo. Her brother Gregor is based upon L'Homme with shape and texture by the ever-so-talented Tempesta3d. Dorotea Van Humbeek is based on LaFemme with textures and morphs by Tempesta3d. They are in the Hall of the Modular Mansion by BlueTreeStudio.

Poor Gregor is so worried, I can almost feel his gut clenching!! I'm sure it will help to have Dorotea's support. And she should be meeting Lena soon, as surely Lena's done "freshening up" by now! What a lot of interesting tattoos Dorotea has! (I've seen her before in your renders, but I guess I hadn't zoomed in on them.)
Gregor will have to pull himself together before Lena finishes. As to her freshening up, I am working on an interesting development in the guest bathroom that I hope you will enjoy. As for Dorotea's ink, it's an interesting thing. When she models for Gregor, he finds it diminishes her beauty (even though he himself has some ink; humans are not known for consistent reasoning). Have a look at Dorotea modeling for Gregor and a close up of her ink here.
She is truly a favorite character of mine although I love all my people. =)

Oh I hope Gregor holds it together. Great scene and interaction between them.
Heh. Yes, he is kind of unraveling and there's about to be another complication added. =)
Molly
a friend in need is a friend indeed. love her body art.
I have no ink myself and admire someone who has committed to body modification like this. =)
Thanks for taking a moment to comment, my dear!
Molly
From what I see and the pose, you would make a great conductor, unless you already are one.
Brilliant awesome composition and render.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!
Thank you for the comment, Marius. It's a pretty straightforward picture and I am pleased you liked it. =)
Molly
I like the eye contact in this scene. Good work on the story, too.
I really try hard to have my characters interact rather than just stand next to each other. It's tricky and easy to overdo. I'm so pleased you think I nailed it here. =)
Molly
wonderful story and art!
Thank you! This one has been a real priority for me because I love the characters so. =)
Molly
Most excellent dialogue and character portrayals! Hoping for the best! Bravo! Well done!
This one has been easier for me than "The Odd Couple" series. I'm not sure why. It certainly pleases me that you are enjoying the story. I think part of it is that I really like these characters. =)

Dorotea looks pretty casual for the setting and has her share of ink - don't remember the latter from earlier posts but it sorta adds to the character's contrasts.
Don't know if you remember Dorotea modeling for Gregor or perhaps you missed it:

Or this one from the same series with a close up:

Hopefully the links will come through. As for her very casual dress, she is at home as she resides with her sister in the manor. She tends to be stylish, bohemian and very casual in her presentation. Of course, she can get "dressed up" when the occasion demands. XD
Thanks, JD, I always enjoy hearing from you!

A beautiful appealing image, just love it very much (expressions & interactions)!
Thank you, Ute!
