The man in the background just saw the girl of his dreams and is deciding how to make the perfect approach. 2. The man is a con artist and has just seen a probable mark. Now he has to decide how to approach her without spooking her. 3. The man is an undercover detective keeping an eye on a suspected art thief. He is pretty sure she is here to plan her next heist and intends to catch her red handed when she makes her move. 4. They are two lovers meeting surreptitiously in an out-of-the-way art gallery to plan a rendezvous and hoping her rich husband doesn’t find out.
