Description
The latest sensation in the music world is a young man and his golden flute. Sean’s mother used to play James Galway albums and they were magic to the boy. Against his elementary school music teacher’s advice, he chose the flute and took the teasing (“That’s for girl’s.”) heaped on him. He excelled at it and won a position at Julliard School of Music upon graduation from High School. Sean did paid his dues learning the classical style but took his playing to another level by branching into other music genres like country and rock. Playing at local bars got him a following and eventually caught the ear of a musical agent. Soon he was opening for bigger acts in large venues and gaining a fan base of his own. Next month he will release his first CD called The Pied Piper and begin his own tour of the U.S. and Europe. This photo session will supply the artwork for the CD, promo images for the tour and 8 X 10 glossies for autographing. Not bad for a small town boy. Maybe one day he will get to meet his hero, James Galway.

Sean had a magical path to his success---it's always great when that happens. The photo shoot has it right: Esp for a pop album. Stern yet sensitive, he's in a fatigue kind of outfit but also stylish and exercise-y (and partly rugged). And his hair adds to his sense of strong presence, while his flute---gold too!---shows his sensitive side. If his PR people want him to be a sensation, this shot will do it. Even straight classical CD's will do covers like this from time to time, adding sexy and playful and strong into the mix, to break with the previous tradition of showing veddddy serious musicians. I really like the clean sky like background too. A fine capture of the moment you write about.

Good-looking gentleman (though personally I prefer a different hairstyle). Pleasant lighting and texturing on the garments. This image would certainly make a good CD sleeve design! I was actually hoping to hire him as a pest exterminator as there are countless rats infesting my residence (just joking), but I guess I got the wrong info about him. :P
