Description
The plan is to create saddles for a bunch of the old dino models. This saddle came with Tahawk, and serves as inspiration. I used this piece to mix three different generation of products - I think Tahawk is actually a gen3 product. Genesis 2 female, and a new environment. (I forget which one.)
With all the filters applied, I blends quite well. I'm impressed!
NOW, I have a problem. I've been trying to fix it all day.
My content is working funny. With nothing loaded in the scene, it does not show any categories under products. If I click on "All Products" it's all there. If I check "Filter by content," some of it shows up.
If I select a figure with "Filter by Content" active, then nothing shows up again. It's still under "All Products" but not in categories.
This has made navigation very difficult. I got a LOT of content, and I certainly can't remember the names of everything.
I've reset the database three times now. I've reinstalled Daz Studio. I'm about to go torch my Appdata folder.
GAH! What have I done to deserve this?!?! (Being dramatic.)
I intended to finish up the fight sequence today. I haven't the foggiest what caused this issue, and I'm having trouble finding it's like through Google searches.
Any ideas?

It's ok. I got a work around, but it's a pain in the neck. I hope it will eventually sort itself out. Daz does that.
Great fantasy characters and scene; I like the filter postwork! Can't help with Daz - I've tried it many times but cannot get my head round it.

Part of the reason I've not been busting my behind to try and get DS going again on the machine I bought specifically for DAZ. It has an RTX2080ti 11G card and (when DAZ condescends to actually work for me) it absolutely smokes iRay renders. It worked beautifully for a while until DAZ started the 'postgreSQL' nonsense, and hasn't worked since. I really need to take a couple days and fight with it, because I really loved the quality of the renders. Just have too many irons in the fire at the moment... Maybe soon..
I'm hoping the next major update to Daz comes with a massive DB system overhaul. They could fix a lot of problems if they put some serious effort into fixing up the database system. I get the need to "secure" the assets, but judging from the numerous sites offering free downloads of paid-for merchandise, I'd say it wasn't working anyway.
And, they need an uninstall system that at least gives the option to purge all settings.
But yeah. I'm watching the markets, waiting for the prices to drop again. And avoiding scalpers like the plague!
