I'm reworking Songbird ReMix Australia v1 now for its re-release and thought I'd share some of my work so far... This re-release will probably be ready mid-to-late June. Bourke's Parrot or the "Borkie" is found widespread across arid and semi-arid areas of the inland, from north-western New South Wales and south-western Queensland to the mid-coast of Western Australia, and from the Devil's Marbles in Northern Territory south to Port Augusta, South Australia. It is named after General Sir Richard Bourke, Governor of New South Wales from 1831 to 1837. It prefers mulga and other acacia scrub habitats, and in native cypress and other open eucalypt woodlands. Its population has been adversely affected by overstocking and rabbit plagues, both of which remove under-story plants. In some areas of Western Australia, populations of Bourke's Parrots have expanded since grazing was scaled down, allowing vegetation to regenerate. Rendered in firefly without postwork
