As ALWAYS, thank YOU so much for stopping by and taking the time to share my visions! Your generous thoughts truly mean the world to me!!
But, as I’m sure ya’ll know by now, if it weren't for nonsense, I'd have no sense at all!!
Dolly loves to dance. But as a patchwork puppet, her chances of ever becoming a prima ballerina are slim. Mannequin Andy secretly nurses a crush for Dolly, and is ever willing to dance with her. Dolly is Ever So Fond of Andy, and wishes he would make his intentions clear. But both of them are mute. Sans patchwork/mannequin vocal cords. Perhaps if they could talk, a resolution to this dilemma could be found.
The Pixels were unaccountably touched by this star-struck pair, even tho they considered rendering all of Dolly’s various patches Above and Beyond their contractual duties. Those pixels tasked with rendering Andy’s shiny surfaces were rapidly exhausted and shipped of to St Pixels Memorial Hospital and Yacht Club by the boat-load. (Ma Pixel refused to pay the boat fares.) More robust pixels were rotated in, but none of them lasted very long. Only Flashing yields this particular shade of white, and little pixel arms are only so strong.

have not used that character in awhile. love the dance idea for both figures and love the timepiece back.
Ah, but it is the month of love, after all... And why not start with a bit of dance? It would be a bit of a challenge for these two to share a nice chocolate heart, methinks.....
Now, you just need to tell those pixels to man up.......er.........well...... I mean 'pixel up' and be thankful they don't live in Rod's computer. They think her patchwork and Andy's shiny-ness is tough? Try getting dropped out of a helicopter, or blown through a brick wall.. Sheesh... They'd never last a day as spec-ops pixels... 😆

great concept, love the two dancers, one a patchwork, the other 3D model mannequin...in their world, anyone can do ballet if they know the steps...great clarity in her textures, and wonderful shading too. The contrast of the two dancers is also very strong, and I love how his and her leg seem to be of one person (ditto the arm and leg on their right). I also love the place they're dancing: Gigantic clocks---actually this gear-laden steampunky place almost seems like a miniature, and the dancers are small dolls come alive, like the Nutcracker ballet. Great lighting on the two dancers, and you did a bang up job on Dolly. (I guess he gets to say "Hellllloooooo Dolly" everytime he sees her.) Terrific piece.
