Description
As i stated in my last post I have been seriously ill. On Monday it took a turn for the worst. So I went into emergency to have some tests done to determine why I was still sick after being on antibiotics for a week. Turns out I have 2 abscesses on my right lung. The largest needed emergency surgery and I was admitted to the hospital. I was put on the short list to receive surgery and they managed to get me in the next day (Tuesday) just after lunch. The next 3 days I spent recovering at the hospital and was released Friday afternoon, which was pretty exciting as they had been talking Saturday for release.
So I am home now, still running a fever and not feeling too well but feeling better then I had. I still have to watch for some stuff and if my fever gets any higher or a few other things happen I am to call 911 and go back to emergency. They gave me paperwork to hand them as I go in so they know exactly what to do.

Wow, that sounds pretty serious! I'm glad they were able to get you in for surgery, but I can't imagine recovering from lung surgery is much fun. Just thinking about it makes me want to inhale deeply, something I bet you can't do for a while! I hope you've passed the turning point and are on the road to full recovery now!

Wow, no idea, been bad out of circulation myself. I just said a prayer for your speedy recovery. I hope to see a new post in a couple of weeks with you telling us you've gotten past the fever and other stuff. Rest up without guilt friend - but don't watch too much daytime TV: It sucks the intelligence right out of your head!
