another terrific mystery scene...nothing is explained and yet it suggests so many things. I love the harsh painting of the grandfather, and the cool but peering gaze of the woman (his granddaughter? maybe his lover...) And the very dark surroundings---we can see photos and some old plates, and a very old floor, and old 19th Century wall paper---this is a very close-feeling, intimate, dark chamber (or hall), where two souls meet, one alive, one dead (we presume the man is passed on), and it oozes mystery and secrets. Terrific, Steve: How in the world did you become such a master of dark light? Your bright light work is always eye popping and stunning, but you're equally adept at dark light. This is a scene from a quiet, dark film...beautifully done!

Awesome image Steve!! This is both beautiful, and kind of spooky at the same time. 'Grandpa' looks very much alive , in that picture.....and he looks like he is very much aware that his granddaughter is there, visiting him.....it's kind of 'unnerving'!! 'lol'!!
