Description
I thank you all for looking, wish you all a nice Weekend, take care and stay healthy.
My grandmother gave me this tip once:
When times are tough, take small steps.
Do what you have to do, but do it slowly.
Don't think about the future or what may happen tomorrow.
Clean the dishes.
Wipe the dust off.
Write a letter.
Chef's soup.
You see that?
You go forward, step by step.
Take a step and then pause.
Take a rest.
Cherish yourself.
Take the next step.
Then take another step.
You'll hardly notice it, but your stride will become longer.
Until the time comes when you can think of the future again without crying.
(Elena Mikhalkova, "The Room of Old Keys")

words of wisdom; prefer the previous version of this with its softer colours, it is still a splendid photo though
Indeed they are... and beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
très joli et touchant
Merci cher Pierre!
wow! atemberaubend schön!
Vielen herzlichen Dank mein Freund!
excellent
She went off by the roads, the bleached hair, whose liveliness, which was still fiery, was retained by a scarf. A shawl, her only flirtatiousness, hid the muscles of her gnarled arms. Undaunted, she would collect her armfuls of dead wood daily, bundles that would fuel the hearth fire, where she would simmer the stew or the soup. She had kept the beauty of indomitable nature, that of the vine stocks which know how to give fruit for a long time. Her mere presence radiated the landscape of her vitality.

I like both versions. This one hints at darker problems en route through life.
Yes they did it all and therefore they have all my deepest respect!
Excellent.
Obrigado!
Fascinating atmosphere and image composition !! Amazing work! I like it a lot!
Thank you for your kind comment!
a lovely thought image and poem... alone by the road, perhaps underscoring her absence
Thank you for your kind comment!
Gut, sehr gut gesagt !!
My jaw dropped when I read this, Ute. When times get rough I always remind myself: step by step, steady as she goes, and be strong in the faith :-)
Thank you for your kind comment, that's it step by step!!!
Amazing !

A wonderful tribute!
Thank you for your kind comment!
Memories come flooding back of my own Grandmas!
Thank you for your kind comment Stevie, that was a little bit my intention!
Love the words of wisdom...I'm sure everyone will see something different with this image. I half expect to see some dark riders emerging from that dense forest... Like a banshee or the headless horseman. Yet still feels very hopeful.
Smile, I can see any dark Rider in my image, must have been an Optical illusion! Anyway, I thank your for your comment.
Beautiful work and dedication!
Thank you for your kind comment!

What a beautiful and heartwarming photo.
The poem is packed with wonderful words of wisdom.

Thank you my dear Glenda, greetings from Luxembourg to Canada!
It is very good 👍
