another Friday and hope all in this world are doing ok, The US is by far the country with most cases and deaths and still rising but states like mine are lifting some restrictions, i'm no expert on this but with hundreds still dying daily in this county does not seem like it's all over and we can start going on. I don't have the answer..

for the last 4 or 5 years I've had no desktop connection to the internet and have used my smartphone to post and view work, but my phone service company gave us two months free wifi hotspot, so I get to see all your great art much larger. also can't get vendors credits to come up like on my phone, I type in name and no product info shows up, so I guess i'll post from phone in future still.

I really like how their eyes connect - we can’t see his, but from hers, we know. That extra space offered in the mirror is also a nice touch. I’m asserting my constitutional right to stay indoors. No gun required. I DO wish isolation inspired neatness, however. Getting pretty deep in here. 😻 Thanks for all your Covid images. I really don’t talk about this stuff anywhere else. It’s easier here for some reason.

Funny how the right wing seems to value good 'Christian' values like profit over human life. Alberta is going to do the same thing as well. Screw the public, there's money to be made. I could go on ranting but I won't.
Through a looking glass, darkly. A most imaginative posting reflecting on this continuing nightmare of strife. Reminds me of a family out to visit their elderly relative in a nursing home or assisted living facility, being only allowed to speak and wave through a pane of glass because of the dreaded Covid-19. a very touching image, Steve (well, literally; but it's very touching emotionally too). It gives the impression of a lover wishing her soldier-boyfriend goodbye...though I don't think he's a soldier, and I think they're just touching each other via social distance...I saw the "I love you" from the start (on her mask---I always zoom your pieces to full size, I wouldn't wanna miss a detail!), and it's touching. The purples are all over her side---from that beautiful background, to her outfit, to the wall, to a purple 'mist' that seems to hang over the whole image...
But the mystery is---where is she? Behind a window? Inside a mirror? A beautiful set of illusions...the way this whole covid-time feels like an illusion. It's really well done, Steve, because it feels totally real, yet like illusions abound...It's all in your title, "Through the Looking Glass": Magic abounds....Beautifully, thoughtfully done, Steve.

I hope you're holding on through this, and I hope colorado sees a waning of the virus. Nice work. I was in a busy market recently and looked at the scene of everyone with their masks on and for some reason it seemed surreal.
