On Saturday, March 28, there was an EF1 tornado that touched down just East of my hometown (10 miles Southwest of where I live) and it tore a 7-mile path of destruction through a mostly rural patch of the county, uprooting trees, damaging farm buildings, and knocking down power lines. When it reached the town where my parents live, it LIFTED and passed over, damaging one farm building but no homes, and there were no injuries or fatalities reported. I honestly read your title incorrectly!
