One of the most over-used fonts in history! The other two being Times New Roman and Helvetica, neither of which I like using because of their over-exposure. I don't know how many of the male members will notice the font though...

Well....I never thought I'd see a tribute to Comic Sans! Not because it isn't a great typeface---it is---but because ya just don't see tributes to fonts these days! On your art, Acacia and Alyssa---you did a pro job once more of making classic pinups: They're in dance poses, they look great, Acacia leans against a wall, in a classic leaning pose, that semi-shining white looks great, the contrasts with those blacks are great, and your background is a star studded affair, reminiscent of the disco era (flashing lights), your floor colors are warm and rich---ol' Comic Sans never had it so professional, sexy or zazzy...Also, you handle wrinkles beautifully...the shirts are so believable: great job. You returned sexiness to a typeface!

Now, a word on poor Comic Sans. (You gotta go along, I was forced to study this stuff years ago, so you'll have to suffer through this...) You no doubt know this, but CSans was designed by Microsoft, to imitate, as you say, the wonderful hand-written fonts of cartoons. And yes, it's been overused. But so is Times---the main newspaper font---and it's still being used...Is it inappropriate to use CSans for serious text? Well, in orthodox circles, yes: It kind of undercuts legal documents (imagine the Constitution in Comic Sans!). But it's a classic: I mean think of it: A tiny angle on the verticals of an "m", and you have a "silly" font: It looks like the "m" is giggling. The small "a" has a tiny curve on its vertical: It's 'giggling'. Tiny additions---and you have a comic font. With TNA, I remember a more rounded font in your TNA captions (yes? a very classy face, w/ rounded "m"s and "n"s, and beautiful rounded "a"s...I'll have to look; but while these are minuscule points for most of us, those little design-quirks are the whole world for a designer. So you're returning to Comic Sans? Bravo. It's one of the most readable fonts of recent years...Do people realize how long designers slaved to make a classic typeface? I mean really, a single typeface could take 2 or 3 years! You probably knew that, but many don't. It's impossible to conceive putting in that much time into 24 little letters (and additions). Those designers poured over a letter like monks poured over a letter in the Middle Ages...a letter was like prayer to them, just one "D" or "T". And the modern typefaces then had to be transferred to lead ("font" is from the same root as "foundry"---where they make lead for print). Then they had to apply it to every point-size, italic, bold, etc etc---stuff we do with a mere flick of the wrist---and finally you had a finished typeface. And I mean those typefaces had the same proportion and balance as you or I work for in an image...for them, each line was a work of art, each serif had its own 'expression'. When digital took over, the same principles applied, only no 'lead'. (Remember Fontographer?) So, to the designer of Comic Sans, kudos. It was overused because it was classic. And if you return it to your captions, you'll have my support. (Though I love that rounded font you used too...)

I'm using Bauhaus Rounded for the main TNA story (and will continue to use it there) as - like you - I like the rounded look of the characters and it flows nicely and is easy to read.

I have to agree about CS - if it wasn't such a classic font, it wouldn't have been overused.

Thanks, Barb! Yeah, stockings can be a real challenge to fit. I've developed a bit of a technique using the morph brush in Poser - sounds like it might be a good subject for a tutorial.... 😉

Nicely crated, fun scene, Rod...The girls are great and do like your snazzy background...I always liked Comic Sans, but it fell out of favor, not de rigueur, and understandably not for business. At this point in my life, for all I care (which ain't much), folks can use one of those children's fonts...
