'Wow'!! A very awesome dark and moody scene.....I likey!!! I like the dark background, and the lighting is really cool! I hope that little vampire hunter knows what she's getting herself into.....it's a very dangerous job, and vampires are intelligent, and very very clever.......she should only hunt them during the daylight hours, and if she's lucky enough to find one.....open up it's coffin, and drive a stake thru it's heart!!!!! 'lol'!! I likey!! I guess you can tell that I've watched a lot of vampire movies in my day!! 'lol'!! My 'fave' vampire movie is 'Interview with a vampire', and my 'fave' vampire is 'Louie'!!! Louie is such a nice vampire.....he has a good heart.....he doesn't like being a vampire.....he had no choice....'Lestat' turned him into a vampire.....'Lestat' is 'bad to da bone'.....you don't wanna mess with him!!! Awesome scene Steve....I likey very much!! Good luck to this little 'vampire hunter'. I hope she has a successful hunt!!!!

Strange outfits for hunting vampires, unless one of them is already in her house. Lots of mystery there! I love that frightened little mouse hidden behind that box, maybe, he is the ... vampire transformed into a mouse, instead of a bat! An intriguing picture with haunting lighting!

Love the lighting and POV. But I wonder: is she planning to use the kit herself, or is she perhaps one of its intended targets, just checking out her enemy's toolkit?!
A terrific render !!!
Real, intense dark-lighting (painters in the 1500s used this kind of light!), and it packs a punch. We see hints of the room around her, as the light is all on her and on that amazing box with all the mysterious items in it. You have a hard silver light in spots (beautiful), and love all those objects, including a cross (she's obviously religious). I also like your from-the-ceiling pov of the woman, with all those angles and hidden features (we only see part of her face). Beautifully done Steve. You'd be at home with the Renaissance masters.
(i've probably shown this to you before, but it bears repeating: It's a celebrated painting by Caravaggio, from the 1500s. ((Christ being taken by the Romans.)) Just look at the intense shadow, and then that intense light. That's what I'm talking about. You have a real feel for this kind of light...zoom if it shows up small:
