The dress rehearsal of the duel scene with Tommy guns was a near disaster. Adam’s gun (right) had two real bullets in its magazine. Luckily both missed and Adam was knocked over by the recil. Adam, a dancer had never fired a real gun much like a heavy recil weapon. So the question on everyone’s mind is how did the bullets get there. Of those on stage only Paulette, Scotty’s unhappy trophy wife who looks on in her showgirl costume, knows for sure. Except for… Thanks for looking.
