Description
The weekly Saturday morning beach outing took an unexpected turn today. Pepper’s owner decided to go sailing with some friends and took Pepper along. It turns out Pepper is not a sailor. As soon as the boat got back to dry land, he stumbled down the gangplank and onto the beach where he wilted into the sand. His buddies, Chili and Meatball came over to check on him. Chili tried to cheer Pepper up by mentioning a dead fish that was ripe for rolling on, but it only made things worse. That’s when Meatball knew his big friend was really sick. The two friends settled down beside Pepper and did their best to comfort him until he got his land legs back. The fish would still be there later.

(To Rod, I've actually seen a dog get dizzy from being on a boat, and he couldn't wait to get on land.) Pepper, here, is really done in---you caught a very pale knocked-out look and hue---well done! And the other two are like caring nurses, nursing their friend back to health. A really tender image, Teri, even though there's humor in it too. The attitude of the other two is really caring. And if that's a photo back there, you integrated to dogs into it seamlessly. Love the red bandana too---a sign of life to come for poor Pepper...
