Morning, a cormorant in the middle of a lake. Sorry, it's not so sharp I would like.

cool......and great title
A superb capture of it JC, I like the glistaling on The water from the Sun 5++
Very beautiful and Original shot !!
Beautiful capture!
A perfect catch, Jean!
He/she is drying the wings after a dive for eel. It's a great shot though!
Très belle photo
they must dry their wings before flying. there are usually many here around the creeks and lakes
Looks like he is balancing on a log lol but it must be a rock. Great lighting and capture my friend!!!
Great shot!
Beautiful shot.
How regal he looks...actually when a bird spreads its wings like this it is getting some vitamin D into its body. Sometimes, the bird will face the sun and open its beak to get the benefits of the sun directly into their mouth...I've raised a number of orphaned birds and always enjoyed watching their various habits.
Still, a wonderful capture! A fine looking scene of the bird balancing on the rock!
Beautiful shot.
Very nice shot, love it!!!
Cormorants do not have a pancreas that could grease their feathers ... That's why the plumage needs to dry in the air … Fantastic shot, Jean-Claude.
We call these "Jesus" birds. Always loved to watch them dive and the dry off.
