Interesting to see somebody else's workflow, so thanks for posting that. My current machine would crash if I tried to load that much stuff into it, so I will have to wait until I get the new one (hopefully this year).

I really enjoyed your video, Rod...but all I can is my little, sorry computer would explode it I went into a scene like that yacht :) Thanks for spending the time to put it together to share your workflow...See you finally got her into a dress--she looks great in that room (in boat jargon, it's a saloon-pronounced salon).

I can see I'm going to have to brush up on all these nautical terms! LOL

AWESOME! You could hold a killer party in that room alone. Invite just your closest 1,000 friends to keep it under control and make sure you keep Dan away from any buttons or screens or . . . well, ANYTHING.

Dang this yacht is the bomb of detailed products my friend, love your video, I got half way through before my battery says recharge! Got through ten minutes, and wow highly impressive ship, love the instructions you have on parenting I do some but lack the knowledge you have on it.

Might get that ship someday, when in my and Tina's budget. Me I want that pillow first.

Poser 9 has a set with an office that's has mega rooms, and props for each, I've had trouble seeking other parts of the prop, and there is many, not quite the cool details of that ship though. Bitchin cool prop, video and learning my friend. Thanks will keep it for future reference if I get the ship.

Fabulous interior Rod. The girls really have some fabulous place to work and play :). This is like a mobile HQ ! I will get to the video a little later. Need to head for work soon. Looks like you have been fully utilizing the power of the RTX 2080ti. Btw. I have 5 of them ! Waiting for Octane to enable the real time raytracing cores. Once that happens my render times should be in seconds or single digit minutes instead of the double digit minutes to hours. They have said the render speed might improve to 25 times !

5 of them?!?! Man.... 😧😲😳 You must brown out the entire neighborhood when you do a render! LOL You could render a life-sized Miho, and not have time to grab a cup of coffee!

That is an increditble yacht and you are making fantastic images with it, l'll watch the vid and maybe learn how work with interiors. I don't do rooms much because when I try the camera always ends up behind a wall and I get lost lol

Ah, but not this one, Doc! T.N.A. is an environmentally responsible organization. It's been specially modified to run on methane and waste gas - basically it runs on poop and garbage. I've been told I'm full of it, so a monthly visit should keep it fueled up no problem! 😁😆🤣😜

Three Sheets to the Wind on the layout and work of this most expansive yacht dining room, or whatever name it goes by. I didn't realize there would be such a vast amount of area on a yacht, even on a most immense boat. Enjoyed the video also.

Thanks for the marvelous tour. For this Daz User, I am totally blown away by the enormous amount of features and properties Poser's lights have. While I'm at it, throw in a good dollop of jealous. (I use 'dollop' around 3-4 times a year. That was the first for 2019). And what was Betty thinking? She's on a yacht! What could be more appropriate than a towel dress ?? Cutting edge, Rod. Cutting edge!

WOW! Fantastic job, Rod! I got half way through the video before it hung. But that didn't bother me so much because I really enjoyed seeing you work and your hands occasionally showing. At this point in your development all I can say is you beat a lot of professional computer design folks. My father was a naval architect. I'm looking forward to more of your yacht images. This image is SO good it could be taken for a photo. Keep up the good work! :-)

It was fun watching the video! There are just enough Blender remnants floating around in my brain that I wasn’t totally lost. I wonder about scale, but if you answer my question here, I’ll never see it. Maybe we can talk about it when I see you. Sometimes your models seem a little too tall for a scene (although I just attribute that to you maybe liking tall girls), but Betty looks like a giant in that room! The bridge scene looked good, scale wise, but in the lounge Betty is wearing something approaching 7” heels, and is probably eight feet tall. Does the scale of the yacht model change from floor to floor, or one area to another? Just an enquiring mind question. Obviously, I don’t NEED this information! LOL!

Betty is a pretty tall girl, plus the fact she's in some really tall heels, as you noticed. Part of it may be the fact that the camera's focal length is about 21mm. Poser's cameras are pretty close to what you'd see with a 35mm SLR so that may have an effect as well. Especially when you try to put a camera in a room, unless the room is really large. I'm still playing with some camera tricks, and of course more videos. We can do some brainstorming when you and Bill get back in town!

I'll catch up on your last several uploads while I'm here...I read Tara's comment, and I can see why she says that: But to me it's more (as you say) a function of the camera and lens and focal length (virtually, not physically). Everything seems in order here...but I can see why someone might think she's too tall....In any case, I already commented on the video, and loved it, esp the thought process you go through to make all these complex scenes. And this "shot" is quite spacious and open; and, for me, dramatic. Dramatic because of the open space and how the chairs and tables create all these vectors and lines. And the beautiful way the background wall creates an 'embrace', the arching lines the embrace everything in front of them. It's really compelling full size. And Betty is imposing, and dressed and accessorized beautifully (ie, shoes and string belt), and looks terrific in this room. The light atop is a powerful draw too. Really well done, Rod. A really compelling visual, and a great backdrop for Betty, who looks like she's waiting for someone to arrive, and she looks terrific.
