Description
the lady is almost ready to be transported to a rehab center. I have heard that the maximum days medicare will pay for rehab is 21 days. then they must go to a rest home if they require more rehabilitation. she is very confused and hallucinating. she called me upset that I had not picked her up from a place in California. the view out the window is a roof of the hospital and she asked her sister why there were no people outside. she explained to her it is a roof, but she did not believe

A beautiful photo! So sad when one's mind starts to disappear! A dreaded outcome for all of us I'm afraid if we live long enough. Although there are many many examples of people who have lived into their 100s and still had rock solid minds! So who can say what causes this malady in any individual. I hope science can find the answer(s) soon for there is a scary epidemic looming on the horizon, (need I say, us baby boomers?).
