Not their fault that we build things where they stop for rest. Nice capture!

lol, birds have a lotta nerve, don't they? Using our land as a toilet...Love the way the trees suddenly "let loose" all their birds, like the treetops exploded, and poof! Birds flew away. (As if someone shook the trees.) Love the dark sky, it makes the birds look like a combo of birds and debris. With smidgeons of life below (signs, neon, etc). A fine, unexpected shot.

(And it sounds like the woman you helped is now imagining things--somewhat typical of older people who've been injured. I hope she gets better soon...it's very kind of you to keep up with her.)

One can almost hear their cackling... A great shot of these birds, Richard. Somewhere, Alfred Hitchcock is smiling...

I've heard about these migrations. Wouldn't want my car parked under on. Reminds me of a current commercial, can't remember what company airs it, where a guy is driving a sporty bright red convertible. He starts to park it with the top down, looks around and sees many birds hanging around overhead. So, he find another different 'safe?' space and parks. Gets out of his car and starts walking away. The camera goes out for the long shot and shucks, he parked near a construction site. One of the cement mixers malfunctions and dumps its entire load all over his convertible. Oh, now I remember, Farmers Insurance, 'we've seen that' segments. LOL. Funny but not for the guy involved!

Someone must've busted open a bag of bird seed over there. Better get an umbrella and a poncho if you want to have a closer look. Great capture!

Super! Here some swallows decided to rest under a roof in a shopping center and the administrators tried to evict them, but the pressure of the customers and the public in general was so great that they had to allow them to be there until the birds decided to continue on their way. For once, the birds won !!!
