(Steve, I'm skipping some images now, only because I want to comment on some older images as well...I see everything nearly as it goes up; but because of the length of my comments, I have to skip around when I actually comment. My apologies! They're all worthy of my time, believe me...)
I actually know this song (shock!!!), and your image evokes the melancholy and yearning of it beautifully. I love the stark white and black contrast---more of your masterful contrasts---and the deep-night feeling of the woman pining against a column. Odd too, because there's so much light in this image; yet it feels like night to me. I love the 3 doors to capture the name of the group; and how she too is bathed in deep whites and blacks, like her surrounding. It's like a still-image out of a music video: It perfectly captures the mood and lyrics of the song. It even has a 1940s look, almost something from a Frank Sinatra song. First rate work. Man you know design!
