Description
Some parts of this walkway (see previous image) are strange and a little disturbing to go, it is better not to be claustrophobic!

Two things come to mind when viewing this photo: to invest so much capital in these structures (material and human labor) there must have been all sorts of major hostilities during that period, and human beings were smaller at that time. Nice to see France's heritage is so well curated. Thanks for sharing your amazing captures :)
Il me semble bien long ce corridor...et ils n'avait pas de fluorescents pour l'éclairer
Does look rather tight in areas to walk, great looking capture of this area, JC.
Bet this place could tell lots of stories.
Right, you should not go there.
Very fine photo!
Very strange walkway ,excellent capture !
Effectivement ! Mais la capture est parfaite ! Bravo !
Awesome shot of this fantastic place,Jean:))**********
Great capture!
Yes! I can see that. Many places though, for prayers and meditations! Excellent capture!
I think I see d'Artagnan at the far end! :)
Seriously, a wonderful photo of a unique place!
Its a unbelievable work which they did by working up the stones in these round elements. Not every brick is the same, so it must have been a puzzle to get this all together. Thanks for sharing this great view my friend
Now imagine it without the modern lights. A hand held torch would make this walk a bit different for sure, lol...
the fluorescent makes an ominous mood
Great capture of this space - you get the feeling of how close it is - nicely done!!!
It looks like a very interesting place. Nice capture.
cool, excellent
Yes, a bit scary! And no lights when it was built! Well done, Jean!
magnifique cette gallerie
Excellent
En effet, au premier coup d'oeil je pensais à un genre de catacombes, avant de voir les ouvertures :) , super photo Jean-Claude !
Beneath the Hotel De La Closhe is the Cav De La Closhe (a restaurant cut out of stone), in Dijon France. It's a beautiful and amazing place. This photo reminded me of that, although my spelling is terrible I went there often! lol
Great looking capture my friend!!!
Okay, I already know that from the catacombs in Paris. What I find a bit strange here are the fluorescent tubes. This atmosphere is completely odd. It lacks the dim light of old bulbs. ;) Interesting photo, Jean-Claude.
Amazing !!! Awesome photo !!!
Direction le coeur de la montagne!... ou presque lol Sûr que çà doit être angoissant quand on l'emprunte!
