Description
we set the record straight. We, as artists, post our images and writings to be reviewed and critiqued. This means if we did a good job, we should be told so and, why we did a great job. If we make a mistake then it is up to your, the fellow artists, to let up know what we did wrong. This will ensure that we can improve our art. After all, isn't that we post? Think about it!!! While it is true that we create for our own satisfaction, when we post, we want to know how we can improve what we do. I know that I've had mistakes called out on what I have done and I strive to ensure that it won't happen again. This is what each of us strive for.
The image that I have posted represents my mood right now. I'm attacking the banal and so-so comments. I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO IMPROVE MY ART! At least that's why I post.
If I have offended you by my rant, so be it! I don't need accolades, I need CONSTRUCTIVE criticism!

Gee I hope I haven't been too guilty of this one. I do try to get into an artists head and try to understand what they're saying and not just how they said it with their images. Sometimes the message is WAY more important than how it is delivered. The thing I see most in you work is your HEART and that's why I stop by. But I don't mind pointing a few tech things out now and then - if you will kindly reciprocate... OK? And the rant is OK too, I get you. Your art is a serious expression of who you are and you want people to take you serious. I do.
Aha, so this was the infamous rant. Yeah, while I totally agree with your point here, I've given up on people giving any kind of constructive commentary at all. I'm at a point where I give out the same comments I get, and I don't post much anymore. There's no point.
