Another simple yet powerful image. More 'minimalism': Just a fairy, a huge moon, and a rose. (And the rose is dripping! Love those two droplets falling off the petals, on the right.) It has a little bit of an "E.T." feeling (because of the characters against a moon), but it also has a traditional japanese feeling, because the japanese print makers used simple, bold forms against huge suns and moons, in several of their pieces. Your fairy sits attentively, and has reds in her outfit as well (color harmony); and the moon is huge, and it holds these two beings together. Love that she's sitting on a leaf from the rose, and it holds her up without any troubles. Terrific image, Steve, bold and very artistic. Your model sits on a mere leaf, suspended in front of the moon: Yet she seems totally at ease there; and nothing can dislodge her. Defying and accepting gravity all at once. I love it.
