Isn't she sweet?
This is the oldest daughter of "our Chinese", she is about 6 years young.
By "our Chinese" I mean our favourite Chinese restaurant in Schinnen.
(Maybe Robert (aka rachis460907) knows it. The name of the restaurant is "The golden dragon", in de Stationstraat.)
btw I prefer vegetarian food, but for their menu I make an exception with pleasure.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the restaurant. Was it there in the '80s? We don't tend to eat out very often, so it could have been there and I just never noticed it.
We get our Chinese cooking now when we visit our son in Wisconsin. He married a sweet Chinese girl and she cooks some amazingly tasty meals! (My mouth is watering just thinking about it! LOL)
I sure would enjoy seeing all the old "haunts" again in The Netherlands. I can't believe so many years have passed since we were there. One of these days. . . .

I truly enjoy Chinese Food-- especially deep fried shrimp 🍤 .
(Robert is lucky to have a real Chinese cook in his family! If I had a Chinese cook in my family, I'd move into their home!) This is a gorgeous capture of a young girl, you got a great smile and the two "peace" signs, and a lovely capture of the little beads or ties or rubber bands in her hair. A wonderful portrait. She's worth the visit to the restaurant, alone.
