So, when Bill is photographing spiral staircases at the Patent Office you are photographing straight ones at the National Gallery of Art. Talk of complementing each other! This is interesting. They all seem to be going down. Escalators? Or just a fluke? Anyhow, they make a nice part of the art! Keep up the good work! :-)

I don't even know if you can read comments right now...but my comments will be there when you can, in a couple of weeks...
I'm sure I said something about this when you posted it...it's a wonderful abstract of zig zags and curves, with the black of the people---amazing how many people are wearing dark colors!---as contrast to the light gray walls. Wonderful contrast in color and shape. And the Calder is perfect as balance, in the upper right. You even coordinated the Calder with that line abstract on the wall behind it...Really fine work, formally, line-wise, and shape wise, with the blacks of the viewers making a fine contrast to the otherwise light-hued interior.
