You caught some beautiful lighting on Abe's face, Tara! What a wonderful shot - and from a unique angle. I don't remember seeing it quite like this.
Last time I saw Lincoln, his head was sticking out the side of a mountain! LOL

A wonderful symmetry in this image. Lincoln's head is balanced by the column on the left while the light on his face is also balanced by the darkness of the column. A real art piece.

This is beautiful, the light is subtle and yet dramatic, you gave a softness to it (or captured it), the background feels very intimate, and by capturing him from the side, you allowed us to concentrate on his face and see him almost enveloped by that huge marble chair. The chair-side rises up on him---terrific, I don't imagine he's ever been seen this way before. And his gaze takes us out into the world---seen, in your vision, from inside a private place. The golds in the background add color to the alabaster-hues too. Beautifully done. A rare treatment, since most photos of this bring out the 'monumental': But this is far more monumental, and intimate too. Beautiful work, Tara.
