Yet in the garden is nothing going on, I know, but I went looking for something to capture. Just like always to look for distractions, and to be outside.
And behold, I spotted a tiny mosquito, so: Voilà!
The size? I guess 6 à 7 millimetres.

BTW, I guess zoom is better, because I show so much of the leaf on which perched the mosquito; this because of the hairs that are to be seen.
Ha, ha, not on the mosquito, but under the leaf. ;-)

I zoom everything, as it's the way the artist created the image, so I always view in 'full size'. Yes, the hairs under the leaf are stunning. They almost look like icicles, on the right. And you caught the long spindly legs of the mosquito: The mosquito is so sleek and tall, compared to the long flat surface of the leaf. Fine macro photography, Jacomina.
