After staring at this you see it is possibly an aerial photo. I see your postwork. Lots of twists and turns as well as smearing. Very creative looking art.

Harry, I can't do more than a couple of comments now (because of my arm, etc), but I at least want to leave a couple. This was a marvelous abstract. You began with what looks like (with your son) an aerial photo. But on close inspection it looks like a shot of some roads and maybe a parking lot or a pond, and landscape in the background with walls and some houses and trees. And railings from fences, and a streetlamp (or several)...but you did something major with it: You made a big swirling abstract out of it: This isn't "postwork"---where the image is still present: This is a wholly original piece. A real digital painting. (A number of my PShop abstracts start with a photo, so I get it.) Wonderful broad color contrasts; the lines of the road are met with isobars which give resonation to the work. You have pits and big 'knots' throughout. And a real rhythm of intensity-and-then-openness. And a sky above, with your landscape leaping into it like big chunks of sun in a solar-storm. It's a marvelous abstract, you did a great job with it. And, if it's an evocation of your general state (because of your health, all the appointments, etc), boy you captured it powerfully. But it's also a powerful painting, period. I loved it the second it went up. Also, your color scheme is wonderfully matte in spots, with those slate blues and browns (terrific). At least you can say that your malaise produced a powerful piece of art. I wish it produced alot more good as well, but for an artwork done in struggle, this is about as expressive as it gets.
