Description

I got most of my junk out of my office. the painting will not take long to do. I am going to try my best to throw lots of things away. after several computers and accessories over the years I collected various cables that fill two boxes. they are so expensive I hate to throw them out when I may need one. I have been keeping several useless antiques also. I will take pictures of the stuff before using the trash can for storage. at least until the refuse truck comes

What amazing honeycomb features on this formation. And what a sky. Beautiful picture, Richard. And, oh God, I know the feeling with all the cables, power cords and stuff. I still have my very first computer stored in its original box. An HP Pavilion . And it would still boot right up if I plugged it in. 😃

Digging the landscape, looks so similar to the outback here in Oz, the rock formations, weathering and hues are just like your capture...or did you just nip over to Australia for a quick photo shoot ? LOL

I know the feeling, it's hard to part with old equipment.

~Cheers~

Holy rock, Batman! (sorry, couldn't resist...) That's a wonderful formation, and you got a great shot of it, Richard!

If you throw those antiques in the trash, you might keep an eye peeled.... You might see Arawen raiding your trash can - she loves that stuff! LOL

I also wish I could raid those antiques - I save right down to pocket lint, never know when it may be valuable :) Great shot!

There are a lot of interesting rock fomations and the color always rocks! The last years I have thrown away tons of stuff and my rooms and carpets still are full, sometimes I think more than before 😥

Very odd but beautiful rock formations--looks like "Big Foot" took a stroll over here.

LOL.

You are soooo typical , it is very difficult to toss out things that we may think "will come in handy some day" .

Perhaps putting them up for sale on your local social media will be the answer .

Happy painting and good luck getting rid of the unused goods.

A great rock formation. Definitely very popular for breeding. Fantastic photo!

My inner amateur geologist is telling me those rock formations are caused by water dissolving bla-bla-bla, but my inner 12 year old is insisting they're condo's for a community of monastic space-bats.
