A Halloween apocalyptic treatment, where these tree trunks appear like a ghastly cathedral of the mind, or some ancient mythic castle, with terrific blues and purples and cream-hued highlights, and deep twisting lines and shadows. Poor trees---they had no idea what hit them. You made a real tangle out of this, with all kinds of mysterious shapes and faces (I'm with Helle on that), even a shadow of some dude (bottom-center), and a feeling of a nightmare or mystical vision. The purples and blues intensify this greatly. You really transformed this old pic---over 11 years old!---and the frame is perfect, with blacks and light-grays to set off the eerie hues of the 'painting' inside. Terrific work, Harry.
