Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders.
Miho really wanted to get into the water, she was getting impatient with me. She said to me "Come on, hurry up"... and well I dropped everything and complied =) !
About this render:
In my last render, I had missed out a few things to make things look more real. One was Miho's skin looked more matte with few highlights. But being under the direct sun with no clouds her skin should have had almost blown highlights and more of the surface area should have been highlighted / had shine. Also in the previous render, I had brightened her eyes a bit too much. I toned it down in this one. Also the sand texture displacement was not set. I fixed that on this one and the sand has form and volume now. To make it more real next time I probably have to paint sand on her feet but that I will do another time. This render already took me 4 hours, 128000 samples. That is a lot when you realize in Octane generally 2000 to 5000 samples are more than enough for most scene. I was going to do the same scene with the fixes but then thought I would do a slightly different pose and so I changed her pose a bit. Now Miho has both her hands pointing to the inviting water and telling me to hurry up and join her. I like the render has a nice sunny feel to it and though the render is really bright, the skin highlights are not blown.
