Description
"Fungi can be found in just about any habitat you care to mention, from sea water through freshwater, in soil, on plants and animals, etc., etc."
But this fungi is simply growing on a broken piece of our old cedar stump. Wanted to see how well the automatic focus on my new Fuji X-Pro2 would handle the intricate details. Next I have to practice using manual focus on up-close objects.

Wonderful capture - love the detail - very sharp indeed.
The auto focus has come out really well for this great capture. I love seeing the detail of all the different fungi that you have found in one place.
Habitat for Fungi? Is that another Jimmie Carter project? Great color and sharp detail in this image. And a wonderfully diverse community on that log. Looks like you are having fun.
Super sharp capture my friend. You are doing very well with the new camera Bill. God bless.
OHHH! I love this shot. This little miniature world is amazing. Having a walk there as an ant for half an hour would be a wonderful experience, huh?
It seems your camera did a wonderful job.
How very beautiful! Isn't it sad that I can name most of those lichens and mosses and can't recall what I had for dinner yesterday!
Super in zoom, lots to see. xx
