Description

In appearance Hrug looked like any other Troll, but he was different. Hrug had a kind spirit and he loved the forest plants and animals. The other Trolls just wanted to destroy things and they would not accept Hrug and his strange ways. Forced to leave Hrug travelled deep into the forest to make a home for himself and live alone. But Hrug was not alone, over time the animals became his friends. He planted a garden and was very happy in his forest home. He only had one regret, for he was a Troll and like all Trolls Hrug had to hide from the Sun. So Hrug had never seen his beloved forest by the light of the Sun. One night when he was very old Hrug climbed to the top of a cliff. There he sat down, pulled out his favorite pipe, and waited. That morning Hrug finally saw the sight he had longed to see all his life. He was smiling when the morning light kissed him on the face and Hrug turned into stone. He is still there today and will forever be part of the forest he loved. ------ The stones are flattened spheres and I made the pipe model (a first for me) in Winds 3d, a very simple object indeed but I didn't have anything else that worked.
