Last night I lay in bed, and suddenly I was rather shocked: I forgot to look at the date, and yet another failure of this klutz.
This, while I knew your birthday really well.
I so hope you will forgive me, my Canadian hero!
Anyway, this morning got up early, and try to create a festive card for you:

a beautiful birthday gift, and it's all in golds and yellow-beiges and such...it's all made of gold-tinged hues. And you have little jewels and trinkets and chains (like necklaces) with jewels on them. And rings and bracelets. And radiating rays. And your usual brilliantly lit rays---these rays are done in whites, which are brilliant. And a grained background with many layers, overlapping and flowing over each other. With "warps" too---the upper right quarter of the image looks like a gold sheet that was warped by a sudden electrical current running through it. It's so complex and rich, and it feels like a treasure you found inside a hidden jewelry box somewhere in the cosmos. Gorgeous fractal work once more, Jacomina. Well, I'm at over an hour and a half here (in your gallery), and I must leave only because I start to write badly around now. It's always a great gift to come here and sit with your work at length. I see everything, but to sit with it and walk in it is a special blessing. I hope you're well, inside and out, and I wish you a blessed late spring and summer, and I hope to get back here (to comment) sooner than the last time. This time around, on RR, I was slower at commenting than any other time since I've joined RR. I don't know why. But I barely got to one gallery per day. But your work always lifts me to the sky...you have a deep and radiant inner vision.
