I like the relationship of the gal and lamp post for some reason. They are kind of parallel and compliment each other. Oh no, have I turned into an art critique. Never took a class I assure you. Nice job.

a perfect evocation of a teenager, running and stopping only to glance at us for a moment, because she is too involved in her destination to care very much, lol. She looks determined; and you painted a purple heart on her face (brilliant), she is dressed beautifully but casually, her clothes fly, and she's running with high heels---something that only teenagers or fine dancers would dare to do.

And you painted her with colors, against a wholly gray background. The background is a beautiful curvilinear painting of a Parisian street lamp (beautifully painted). And the background is perfect for her bold in-motion presence. And I love her expression---she gazes at us from the side like a true teenager: She has something much more important to do than look at us, lol. Beautifully done. And, btw, you often color one side of your paper (in your paintings), and it always gives a fine balance to the whole: Here, you colored the left side with light blue-greens, and it's a fine intuitive addition. And happy birthday to Teri, who does delightful work, and who spreads a lot of kindness and friendliness across the gallery. Wonderful dedi, and another wonderful painting, Yves.
