Description
Just for fun an upload of an older watercolour painting.
In the Netherlands is an expression: "Gaan met die banaan". ("Go with that banana".) which in English is "Go with the flow".
This aside. I'd made a little poem, and was looking for a picture to illustrate it.
Here this (Dutch) little poem, what was just a spontaneous thought of mine:
Waar is mijn moed gebleven,
bleef ik erin?
Of was 't een vals streven
voor ieders gewin?
Een uitglijder, dus.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Trying in English:
Wherever went my courage,
was I left in it?
Or was it a false hankering
for everyone's win?
Thus, a slip.
Thank you very much for "your courage". ;-)
You are in my mind, dear friends, unfortunately not often behind the p.c.
