This is about as close I'm going to get to a Christmas scene this year, so just imagine the Lich King Arthas with red hat and a white beard with lots of presents...or, imagine him summoning up a horde of undead about to start the Dawn of War...LOL Yeah, whatever....found this cool low-res model @ but no artist name (sorry dude) and this scene came to mind. Well, I tried to do this in 3ds Max with the Mental Ray renderer, but I just couldn't get it looking any good, so I canned that idea and re-started the project in Lightwave, much better now (and quicker !), but some of the transparent textures wouldn't work, that meant a fair bit of Photoshop painting to fix it, anyhow here is the final version...whew ! ~ Christmas Cheers ~ jif3d

That's what I call a Jolly old Elf...HoHoHo Off with their Heads. Cool light/vapor effects, love that stuff......dig his Knee/Shin Guards too I want'em, they'd look snappy for Riding down the Highway feet on the forward controls sporting a pair nasty deamons, they'd cause some wobbles from oncoming traffic LoL.....Awesome work man, my kind of Crimas Image

For a flash second there, I thought he was cradling little baby JC there in his arm - after all it fit's in with the spirit of Christmas 🌚 ... but what a face - half covered, maybe that's where they originated the idea for 'Phantom of the Opera', hmm just a thought LOL, a really cool render without that usual tinsel stuff, ho ho ho !

Cheers BB
