Description
This fountain is located in the palace gardens of Heidelberg Castle. I always thought it should be "Neptune" until I read a little sign "Father Rhine". Well, one can not know everything, even if you live here.
Thanks for viewing.

Wonderful statue. And I love the name of it. The good thing is, that we are never too old to learn :-)
"Father Rhine" is here very similar to Neptune, we can understand your mistake! Very beautiful capture!
He must be Neptune's cousin... ;) Excellent capture of this beautifully-sculpted fountain!
Very Beautiful,
He looks rather uncomfortable! A most interesting photo.

Marvelous fountain and place my friend... Fantastic capture also !!!
I would have thought Neptune as well, but I like the title. Very nice capture, Klaus.
stunning statue and a superb capture. happy holidays
Whatever the title, it's a very interesting statue. Great shot!
Mr. Neptun als Faulpelz, na wenn's kälter wird, friert er bestimmt wie der Olaf aus Frozen ein - Zwinker!!!
fabulous image

Maybe Neptune is a relative
Great capture!!!
Very nice....
Maybe he's Neptune's cousin. :D Great-looking classical-style sculpture.
If it were already winter at the time you took this shot, then maybe someone should leave some clothes there for him. He looks like he might get cold!
