Well dont rush the little star-child. He is still learning to create a proper planet, but he is getting there ;-) and more seriously... I love the colors. They are warm and pleasant. What medium did you use here, Mark?

A lovely drawing. At first glance I thought it might be a duckling in a bonnet looking over her shoulder at the sun. Nice subtle colors.

Of course it is, anyone could see that! Starchild musing about gravity (or the lack thereof) with his ball suddenly joining the sun that hangs in midair...fanciful and deceptively deep, Mark!

Looks like those sphere shapes are ready to enter that opening. Very imaginative art, Mark. I also agree with the duckling look at first look.

At first all I saw was a nice image in yellow, ochre and brown. Shame on me. There is all sorts of things going on inside the pebble grain paper. A beautiful and subtle mix of colors.
I love what everyone's seeing in this original work. I can see a camel making his way towards the setting sun after a day spent trying to find some shade.!!!! Cool work Mark.
To run against the grain of the great imaginations above, I see the piece of paper you set your coffee mug down on while you prepared to draw the next great work of art. Perhaps that is what I see, this isn't the art at all, but the prelude to the art. This is that odd tuning sound the symphony makes before it unleashes the perfection of sound and movement. Or perhaps the promise of what will come, the anticipation of visual wonders. Yes, this piece should be called 'Anticipation'.

I see a heart within that mysterious blob, so perhaps this star child is contemplating love. A wonderful mix of colors, shapes, and textures.
An interesting use of negative space and composition here, Mark. It has the look of a watercolor with the tone and somewhat subdued colors. Quite lovely, my friend.
Keep this up, and you're going to inspire me to get the colored pencils and maybe even the airbrushes back out.....
