Interesting comment by Mike. I was thinking the Sharks and the Jets are at it again. I like the texture, like thousands of little beads. The glow is great.
I was wondering if this could be the primordial pond and the beginning of life is being discussed among the fathers of future civilizations.

This is going on in my left lung. This week the hospital sent me 3 specimen pots as they want to culture more of these so as to give them names. Luckily I noticed that the attached lab sheet was for a 50 year old male who lives in the New Forest, and not for me. He probably has mine. I don't want what he's got. I really love this piece of work, it looks an awful lot better than it sounds when I cough!
WOW! The first I thought about when I saw this, was a fraxtal. I must be really boring LOL But to be honest, I think this is one of your most beautiful abstracts you have done, Mark. I love all about it, trying not to think about Andreas Comments. lol Not that I laugh about Andreas lungs, mind you. :(

Oh my, I think if microorganisms knew how colorful and interesting they are, they'd show themselves in full screen mode more often. These guys are so full of fascinating textures, and there's a rainbow orgasmatron going on inside of them. And then all those dark lines, like tentacles, connecting them. They remind me of alien fish-like creatures swimming in the universal sea of all living things. A most interesting work, Mark.

I'm reminded of a book on photomicroscopy that I used to have. The colors are almost exactly the same as the ones I remember in that book (which I think were dyes used to bring out detail in the microscopic images) & the main difference is your addition of those long strands running through the "organisms". These so resemble the vicious blood sucking parasites so prominent in many of the science fiction films I watch. And the ones in those movies are HUGE, easily capable of making a meal of humans. Anyway, cool composition of colors, lines, and overall general effects in this revisit, Mark.
