My friend & traveling companion, Allen, stopped to rest on a bench at the Palace Gardens & struck this pose as I pointed my camera in his direction...

He needs some sultry handmaidens to complete the royal vibes!
I don't know if Allen had some tongue-in-cheek in mind, but it's a great human shot: Instead of being daunted by that big enveloping structure (what is that thing???), he sits proudly, staring right at you, with arms crossed. He'll take on any structure Prague throws at him, dammit. Love the shot. And that thing around him---what, a little portico for sitting, while the others are at a party upstairs?---it's caught for all its beauty and decay. You didn't spare either, and it's got life and grit and presence. And that, in turn, is enveloped by that wall of greenery, with hints of structures above it. Finally, the walkway in front is sloped---I don't know if it's from your lens, or because it's built that way---but it makes the centerpiece stand out even more. Great, fun portrait, he's small but ain't movin' for no one, and he looks great sitting there defying anyone to say he isn't the center of this shot. Love it.
Look at all those amazing textures!
impressive capture and presentation. the cool part is that Allen gives the whole a sense of scale
Great Capture,
LOL! He picked a great spot to pull that pose. Very regal and commanding, and what a lovely site!
Stunning capture my friend. God bless.
