Description
Still at the Palace Gardens in Prague. Okay, that guy swinging a club isn't really playing baseball, but he does kind of resemble a batter at the plate, doesn't he?
Please zoom.

Gosh, that title confused me! Here batter is a flour based paste that goes round fish as in fish and chips, and is cooked in boiling fat! This man would be a batsman at the crease, not the plate! Two nations divided by a common language. 'Batter up' would be an instruction to a sous chef. Interesting photo too!
He does seem to be in the classic stance, but being hit with that club I think that ball would be outta here! Aside from that, this is a beautifully classic staircase. I love the colours on the plasterwork and the general sense of refinement.
Outstanding,
very interesting scene lots to see here
gazongas---which is my clumsy way of saying eureka, or voila, or---what---holy cow! What a rich shot! I love the decay above the stairs, I love the decay on the wall in front of them, I love the decay to the left of the "baseball player"---and by "I love it," I mean I love how vividly you captured it. And all the soot on the stairs and tiles on the ground. And the soot on the balustrades of the fence (if that's what they are---on the left, under the flower pot). And the stark whites by contrast, not to mention those saturated reds and orange-reds. And the burst of that flower pot on the left. And as for Babe Ruth---with a beard (and I think clubbing some fish? something like that?) (that dude got something against fish? or whatever those are?)---yeah he does look like a batter; or maybe a golfer who picked up the wrong club ("wrong sport, dude!"); or someone who's pretty peeved at those animals humping his legs...he makes a totally bizarre focal point for a picture filled with wonderfully bizarre detail. You turned this into an electrifying sight, with contrasts, amazing decay, and pop-out hues. Masterful: The crazy juxtapositions of street photography, made out of architecture, plants and statuary. This picture's alive, sirrah!
Amazing!
