Description
Thank you for your visit, and hope all that celebrated Thanksgiving had a great meal and times with family and friends.
I'm thankful for god, lord jesus, my dearest mother, sister, niece, nephews and all the rest of my family and friends here and close by. Lol Steve
Been watching the news for the last few hours about a active shooter situation in my city, the near by King soopers and other business's have been on lock down since 11:40 or so. Over 200 shoppers in that area are still stuck. The shooter has now been taken into custody as the news comes across the station. Sounds like 11 people or so have been shot including 5 police officers. The shots have been fired for many hours since the start according to the news. Not sure how the victims are doing, and not sure about the two alleged bombs in the building. It was at a planned parenthood building.. wow! Crazy chit!!
News Update on shooting, two civilians and a UCCS college police officer died on scene. 5 other officers shot and 4 civilians are in hospitals and are ok. Man this is just so crazy. Gunman is in custody after a nearly 6 hr shooting and standoff.

Excellent work! I hope she has the heat turned up.
stunning gal
first, your text is beautiful, and I appreciate the spirit and love inside it. And I hope your thanksgiving was loving and blessed for everyone. As for your image, a lovely winter wonderland outside this very open interior, with that great blue chair (i love the fabric on it and all the furls, as well as that shade of blue), and all the other stuff. Including stark black fish sculptures, the odds and ends on the cabinet (a lightbulb, I think a quill pen with an "elixer"---love that touch---and a digital clock almost at midnight...) The lady is dressed to kill, and she's on the phone, smiling like she's setting up a very special date---also really well done, Steve. The outside is a mix of the outside with the frost on the windows, and some beautiful ice covered street lamps, not to mention a huuuuge moon and those drooping ice-covered trees. A real delight, with a cat messing with the phone wire (for a very old fashioned phone! she won't be taking lots of photos with that thing). Charming and delightful; and, as always, very thoughtfully done. Just right for all us northern hemisphere folk who are battening down for winter as november slips away. Always magical to come here, Steve. Have a fine weekend!
Lovely Image, Steve!! So glad you had a good Holiday!! So very Sorry to hear of trouble in your city!
Please be safe!!
Looks very cold outside, she needs kept warm!!!
Great work Steve
It looks chilly, hope she has a nice warm fireplace.
Great scene, and I'm glad to hear you weren't hurt in that terrible situation in town.

Wonderful atmosphere Steve!
Fantastic background and setting, beautiful characters! Glad you and yours were not involved the shooting!
But it is warm in the room. Splendid mood!
Beautiful Scene aa she is Chilling in the Warmth of this Awesome Room!!! Fantastic Work and happy you had a great Thanksgiving!!! Praying for the families of this senseless shooting!!!!
a complex Winter composition, bordering on surreal.
The Holmes looking whacko wasn't shot, unfortunately, so now tax payers will be stuck with another bill.... for years to come.
We are always in a state of evolution, but I had rather brave one nut with a gun than armed forces controlling a population.
I see you provided a cord for the lady's phone, which helps with longer calls, as my wife is constantly running (with her cell phone) toward a charger. As for myself, having started my career in telephony, I'm quite happy these days sitting with a desktop and large screen, sans phone connections to an outside ever changing world.
One of your best, Steve! Well done indeed!
excellent scene the background is outstanding, and you character is a looker, so I cant see why she is not out and about with some guy
Exellent done.
