Description
Ah, I read just by Helle, that Bill, the dear husband of our dear Tara, has his birthday today, so I started looking for an appropriate photo.
I hope I made the right choice, because I was thinking by seeing this beetle that shows his magic,
that I ever saw a picture of Bill, who was repairing something high in the sky.
So, dear Bill (and Tara dear too) I wish you a wonderful Birthday, which will give you a lot of warm memories.
And also many more years filled with love together.
Hip, hip hooray!

This is an extraordinary and fantastic photo, Mies! You were lucky to see him take off, but amazingly clever to get this pic!
Wow. This is amazing photography.
beautiful poised shot, fantastic, as Andrea says, with such detail (zoom's a must!), and standing as if he'd posed that way for several hours. Amazing capture. And we can see his eyes, and his antennae? I don't know what they're called, but the orange-brown "fans" above his eyes. And that big belly. And those clasping feet. And he's upright! Like he stood at attention for the shot! Wonderful! I too remember stories of Bill fixing things, and he apparently came through it without a scratch, so your title is fitting. Happy Birthday, Bill! You're getting some stunning nature photography today---this is a perfect example. Many, many more! And Mies? This is beautiful. Beautifully seen, caught, and treated. Another beautiful upload from you...
W.O.W.!!! What a fantastic shot! I've never seen such a beautiful creature. His antennae are wonderful and your timing is just to die for... right at the moment when he opened his shell to spread his wings. What a GREAT shot and dedication!!
My word your pictures should be in a wild life book, I have never seen anything as stunning as that the detail and clarity of this picture is fantastic...Love it. Happy Birthday Bill :)
