Description
A light-hearted fractal play.
Moving all around with carefree colors, in shadow and light.

boy, I've seen some really terrific images today, and each time I comment, I think: "There can't be another one today..." But then, boom: You upload! (I didn't have to see the image to know it was going to be terrific.) I love this! This feels like embroidery on some old fabric...maybe the remnants of an old roll of fabric from your grandmother. And you've got it sunken in shadow in many places, to give it an old, antique feeling. I see floral patterns, embroidered. And maybe some animal patterns. Your oranges and greens and crimsons, etc, are wonderful. And you have "stains" too---like old, old water stains. And abstract pattens on the edges...this is terrific, Mies. Real mystery in this. My personal suggestion? Take the fabrics to a specialist, have them cleaned, and have them framed for your walls! Or make a gown. Beautiful work. And how you get these beauties from fractals is beyond my imagination...
Wild yet wonderful love the colours and patterns reminds me of autumn and summer :)
excellente palette de couleurs harmonieuses !!! une belle réussite !

Mooie en kleurrijke cvreatie!
Mark is right, it reminds me of Devore fabric, and I have a scarf somewhere which has a similar design, Sumptuous!
prachtige herfsttinten.. de beweging laat de blaadjes zweven
I'm with Mark, I also got the embroidery feeling, like an ancient tapestry with colours that came from precious elements, too rich for the common person to use...beautifully done piece of true art!
Schitterend werk en kleuren.
And I see the entrance into a beautiful forest !
The sunlight truly makes the Fall colours look amazing on the dancing leaves.
