Description
Yves will know what that means.
Captured 5/10/15, late morning, at the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum in beautiful Fullerton, California.
These gents are trying to wait out the snowy egret hiding at the top of a tall tree. And the camera at the bottom, with the humongous lenses and tripod, must weigh a ton/tonne. This is all serious stuff from the looks of it.

Imagine carrying one of these around on your morning walk. I am very taken by the camo covers on the lenses and the big-time tripods needed to hold all this weight. Like it!
Ah, comments have returned, lol! (I think they changed the comment-option in our uploads---I noticed something about it too, and I almost did an upload with comments off too...) Anyway, very clear shots of photographers studying and mentally maneuvering. And, as Bill says, there's some serious gear here, and the tripods to hold it up. I like that the first shot has someone standing in our foreground, while the other two are grouped behind. I like the music of it, as well as the bleached light in all that drought-struck land. A dry, very crisp, pleasing photo. And thanks for giving us a shot of the monster camouflage lens! (Did you have to barter to get them to step aside?) It's amazing. And I guess animals really are fooled by camouflage, because why else would lens makers use it? Clarity and detail on it, and the camera on the end seems an "afterthought"! (And, in the 1st shot, you have the right-side image right in front of the plant-burst. Fine piece of lining-up.) Fine work, Harry.
Sorry to say I had an 300 F4 cannon that's the bigest reflix I still have an 500 F8 but she give alot of flare what are those long toms Bet they are Nikon
I would have been tempted to create a diversion and then run off with those lenses...well, probably not. But it's a thought. One of those beauties is my dream, and will probably stay that way. Superb shots of the well-equipped photographers, Harry!
That is some serious equipment!!!
Very great shot my friend and this camera is fantastic also !!!
grabs napkin to wipe the envious drool at the corner of my mouth.... I saw some of these when I went to a reserve in New Mexico and there were some men who could carry these around and take hand-held shots, tho most used tripods. One of the men let me attach my camera to his lens on a tripod so I could get a bird shot. I would love one of these, but when you google 600mm and 800mm canon lenses, you'll understand why very few people can afford them. Really nice series of images, Harry.
