Wonderful view on the splendid castle with the river in the background, great capture!
It's a gorgeous castle, such lovely architecture!
so beautiful Klaus, so good to see your work. Hugs. Di. xx
A wonderful POV. I have been there in the 1970s but want to go back. We are thinking about a Rhine River cruise in our future. Maybe that will get us there. Do you live in Heidelberg?

Yes, it's my hometown.
Beautiful photo. Good light. I wonder, was the round tower destroyed in WWII or by other causes? Keep up the good work. :-)
Ungewöhnlich schöne Ansicht des Schlosses, gute Arbeit!
This is so interesting!
Truly a beautiful well-composed shot. Really nicely done!
Splendid view! Photo taken from the Koenigstuhl? @ T-Rex, answering the question not asked of me but of the artist, the castle was put in this state long before WW II. There was significant damage in the 30 Year's war around 1620-30, then in 1689 an invading French army blew up the big tower, which is the most damage you see from the other perspectives Hendresse has shown us.
Thank you, I couldn't have explained it any better.

A good pov to check if ennemies are there or not ;)
