Description
Another beauty from that year, captured back on 10/19/08, at a car show held in beautiful Santa Anita Park in beautiful Arcadia, California.
This one with bumpers and painted a dignified black. And the last in my archive of 1940 Ford sedans.
I have received no ebots today of any kind so far at this juncture.
Have a nice day.

Mirror-like finish on this classic beauty, Harry; super shot!

I think like Denise ! Excellent shooting of this "OLD" car by Ford !!! splendid monster !!!
Love it!!!
Gorgeous restoration. That chrome is magnificent; it pops and sparkles. Beautiful photo, Harry.
Stunning in black and a beautifully restored engine.. Love the reflections mate, well done Rob
another mega-reflective auto beauty from you. You must've caught the light just right, because the reflections---esp on the side---are stunningly clear. And the horizon line beautifully bifurcates the front into darker and lighter. Beautiful sheen. And we see sheen on the car to the left; and a few beautiful sun-flares---the biggest is on the front fender (on our right), but there's one on the back wheel cover, and a few others. I love those in your car shots, they're like embedded jewels. And once again, you handled the background so it stays out of the way as much as possible (I would go crazy trying to get solo shots with all that stuff and people around). In fact the busy background adds a 'jazz track' to the piece, it's like a jazz percussion track. With a pristine engine, a treasure chest right under the hood. Your recent car uploads have been eye poppers, and this one's no exception Harry.
