Description
An Iray render. The sky and fairy twinkles were rendered separately and later added as new layers to the image. Water is one of the HARDEST things to render well in my experience -- and happily Iray has been able to render it very well!
Presiding over water and rain, TLALOC was one of the most important deities of the Aztec pantheon. For some reason he was always depicted with goggle-eyes and a row of pointy teeth (or at least two tusks), and sadly, he received human sacrifices. Here I indulge my imagination in giving him a slightly different interpretation. ;)
